What began as a small honour-system fridge filled with homemade cheesecake slowly became a beloved island ritual — a place locals brought friends, visitors searched for, and strangers trusted. Over time, the heart of the kitchen
started to beat louder. What was once about delicious dessert grew into a deeper love of feeding people, gathering community, and creating beautiful moments around food.
Now, Lorelei and The Cheesecake Fridge call Hope Bay home —
where food, art, community, and west coast charm
naturally gather together.
